Gweepi Medical Grabs Venture Capital Funding

   Cambridge, MA  -- Healthcare service developer Gweepi Medical has landed $420,000 in additional financing, according to an SEC filing.

Gweepi has developed what it calls a "Smart Aide" mobile point of care documentation systems.

The application aims to speed the process of caretaker information data entry, thus improving facility revenue-cycle management processes.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the proceeds.

Gweepi is still seeking $80,000 in additional financing, according to the filing.
