uBiome Launches Microbiome DNA Clinical Lab

   San Francisco, California  --  DNA sequencing technology company uBiome has announced the launch of its new clinical laboratory.

The CLIA-regulated laboratory will provide clinical tests based on its proprietary microbial assays.

Patients can order tests through their doctors to have a variety of microbiome tests performed.

Clinical tests will be differentiated from research study tests and will provide patients with a catalog of their own microbes for various subsets of microbial areas such as the gut, skin, nasal, oral and others.
