Aircuity Adds $6 Million Venture Capital Equity

   Newton, Massachusetts  --  Sensor technology company Aircuity has landed $6.2 million in new venture capital equity investment, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

Aircuity provides integrated sensing and control solutions that help business operators reduce building energy and other operating expenses.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.

Aircuity is still seeking $750,000 in additional financing, according to the filing.

The company is backed by a syndicate of venture capital and private equity firms.
