IIX Sees $20 Million Venture Capital Debt

   Santa Clara, California  --  Networking technology company IIX has secured $20 million in expansion debt financing.

IIX provides interconnection capabilities via its PeeringCloud platform to enable customers to directly interconnect with each other locally and globally.

TriplePoint Capital provided the financing.

IIX said that it would use the proceeds to "increase the speed of our global ecosystem expansion."

The company raised $10.4 million in its Series A round in July 2014.

IIX also announced the acquisition of London-based IX Reach Limited concurrent with the funding announcement.
