Participant Media Expands Social Action Platform

   Los Angeles, California  --  Participant Media has announced the launch of new features for its digital lifestyle magazine and social action platform.

Called TakePart, the destination now enables users to send customized letters to relevant government officials and to share their story via text, videos and photos.

The platform also allows visitors to sign petitions, take personal pledges, give donations and track their impact via a personal Impact Dashboard.

Participant Media said that its platform now generates 1 million actions per month via content provided by more than 100 nongovernmental organizations that comprise its Social Action Network.

Participant also operates a television network called Pivot, which it says is available in approximately 47,000,000 homes in the US.
