San Francisco, California  --  IT company Akanda has raised an undisclosed amount of seed stage investment.

Akanda is developing a "sophisticated management and orchestration platform to monitor, configure and manage third-party virtualized routers, load balancers and firewalls."

New Dream Network led the round, which also included The Fabric, Double M Partners and When Con Venture Partners.

Akanda said it would use the funding to scale out its technical team and accelerate its platform development.

The company is led by cofounder Henrik Rosendahl.
