Shazam and Google Partner on Music Discovery

   New York, New York  --  Entertainment technology company Shazam said that it has partnered with Google to help users discover new music.

For the Android platform, users can now ask their mobile phones to "Shazam it" with the company's app installed.

Google then provide users with the ability to identify music using only voice commands instead of having to pull out the phone and manually open the application.

Google has also included Now cards in various instances of its applications as another integration.

Shazam is a top rated application in the Google Play store and says that it is one of the 25 most consistently used apps worldwide.
