CBRITE Sees Series E Venture Capital Funding

   Goleta, California  --  Electronics technology company CBRITE has secured $12.7 million in new venture capital financing, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

CBRITE "has developed a unique, scalable, high-performance, low-cost backplane solution suitable for the next generation of TFT-LCS and AMOLED displays."

The company says its products perform at a lower cost and provide higher performance than previous solutions.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.

CBRITE is still seeking $7.3 million in additional financing, according to the filing.
