TechTarget Launches IT Research Service

   Newton, Massachusetts  --  Technology media company TechTarget (NASDAQ: TTGT) has announced the launch of a new research service.

The service will develop new intelligence reports around IT adoption, market share and vendor performance.

TechTarget operates a global network of more than 120 technology-related sites and says that it has access to pre-deal data on "approximately 60,000 enterprise IT deals annually."

The company also announced that veteran researcher Ken Male will oversee operations of the new initiative.

Mr. Male was previously founder and CEO of a firm in the data and insights industry for strategic planning, technology benchmarking and related analysis.
