Twistlock Launches Virtual Container Security

   San Francisco, California  --  Security technology company Twistlock has announced the launch of what it calls the industry's first virtual container security suite.

The company says that its solution "enables enterprises to maximize the efficiency, portability and scalability of their containers, while maintaining and two and security."

The system is designed primarily for Docker containers, and provides missing security features that enterprises need  in order to utilize containers in production environments.

Twistlock says that its suite addresses risks in two areas, the host and within the application of the container, which aides enterprises in enforcing security policies more consistently.

The company also announced receiving $2.5 million in new seed stage venture capital investment, led by YL Ventures.
