Clear-Cut Medical Gains Funding For Clinical Trials

   Rehovot, Israel  --  Clear-Cut Medical has completed a second round of venture capital financing, according to a company statement.

Clear-Cut said it will use the financing to "support its continued product development and commercialization of its novel ClearSight MRI system for cancer surgery margin assessment."

The financing, which was led by Previz Ventures, will support clinical trials in three markets: the US, Europe and Israel.

The company expects to launch the product in early 2016.

In addition, Clear-Cut also said it will pursue additional applications for a variety of other conditions such as thyroid, prostate and skin cancer surgery.
