Complexa Raises $4 Million Venture Capital Debt

   Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania  --  Biotechnology company Complexa has secured $4 million in new debt investment, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

Complexa is "researching and developing and endogenous human cell signaling treatments for fibrosis and inflammation related diseases."

Investors were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the proceeds.

The company was founded in 2007 and is concluding four Phase 1 trials of its lead candidate CXA-10.

Complexa is still seeking $1 million in additional financing, according to the filing.
