480 Biomedical Adds Series C Investor

   Watertown, Massachusetts  --  Medical technology company 480 Biomedical has received additional third round venture capital investment from a new investor.

480 has created scaffold technology that combines biocompatible materials with engineering to help deliver drugs in a controlled fashion for up to several months.

The new investor is Broadview Ventures and the additional amount invested was $1.2 million.

Maria Berkman is the partner responsible for the investment.

The additional funds will support development of its scaffold to treat children with pulmonary artery stenosis.
