Endosphere Raises $2 Million Venture Equity Funds

   Columbus, Ohio  --  Medical device technology company Endosphere has landed $2 million in new venture capital equity funding, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

Endosphere is developing a family of endoscopic Lee implantable devices for the treatment of metabolic diseases, such as obesity and type II diabetes.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.

Minimum investment amount per investor was listed as $1,560.

President and Chief Executive Officer Patrick O'Donnell was previously from Histogenics.
