Loopd Lands Venture Capital Investment

   San Francisco, California  --  Mobile technology company Loopd has received $1.5 million in early stage investment.

Loopd is developing software for events that enables event organizers to understand attendee actions during the event and improve their engagement.

Individual investors Marc Benioff and Tim Draper led the round, which included other undisclosed investors.

The company said it would use the funding to focus on "building a more cost-effective, feature-rich relational analytics system.

Additional uses of the funding will be to increase its sales and marketing efforts and explore new market opportunities.
