Interactive Brokers Launches Investor Marketplace

   Greenwich, Connecticut  --  Interactive Brokers Group (NASDAQ: IBKR) has announced the launch of a new online investment information marketplace.

Called the Investors' Marketplace, the service "allows participants to search for a wide variety of investment and other third-party service providers, and advertiser services to individual and institutional investors around the world."

The company previously launched the service in beta-test stage earlier in 2015 and says that it now has more than 300 advisers and other money managers, 120 research providers, 75 administrative service providers and 295 technology providers.

IBG counts more than 300,000 customers and features the ability to process trades in a variety of financial instruments on more than 100 electronic exchanges around the world.

The company also acts as a market maker via its proprietary trading platform that connects to other electronic financial markets.
