Bolt Threads Bags $32 Million Growth Venture Capital

   Emeryville, California  --  Advanced materials company Bolt Threads has received $32.3 million in venture capital financing.

Bolt Threads is developing high-performance fabrics from natural materials and hopes to "turn these materials into incredible products."

Foundation Capital led the round, which included other undisclosed investors.

The company said it would use the funding to increase production and grow its team.

Bolt Threads has raised a total of $40 million venture capital investment to date.
