Guidewire Software Extends InsuranceSuite

   Las Vegas, Nevada  --  Guidewire Software (NYSE: GWRE) has announced the launch of a new addition to its InsuranceSuite application.

Called the Guidewire Portal for Agents, the new capability enables insurance agents and brokers to access policy portfolio information via a browser or on a mobile device.

The system provides policy lifecycle transactional capabilities by reusing informational elements from the company's InsuranceSuite system.

Another benefit is that insurers can get the service up and running quickly to lower their total cost of ownership and provide an omnichannel experience for the agent and broker.

Guidewire says more than 18 customers in six countries have licensed one or more of its Guidewire Mobile and Portals products.
