Raleigh, North Carolina  --  Open source technology services provider Red Hat (NYSE: RHT) has announced the launch of its new cloud ecosystem.

Called the Red Hat Certified Cloud and Service Provider program, the new offering aims to better support its distributors, managed service providers and other partners that handle hybrid clouds and multi-tenet public clouds.

The new program, which is replacing the existing Certified Cloud Provider program, will also expand the choice of Red Hat solutions available to partners.

At launch, the program counts among its service providers 13 of the 15 companies named in Gartner's Magic Quadrant for Cloud Infrastructure-as-a-Service.

The company said that its overall cloud partner ecosystem has grown 58% versus 2014.
