TrapX Snags Series B Venture Capital

   San Mateo, California  --  Security technology company TrapX Security has raised $9 million in new venture capital funding.

TrapX has created technologies that that it calls "deception-based cyber security defense."

Lead investors in the round were Intel Capital and Liberty Venture Partners.

The company said it would use the funding to accelerate growth across all aspects of its operations, including engineering, marketing and global sales.

Company CEO is Greg Enriquez and the CTO is co-founder Yuval Malachi.
