Besomebody Bags $1 Million Venture Funding

   Austin, Texas  --  Internet technology company Besomebody has received $1 million in early stage venture capital funding.

Besomebody operates a marketplace that enables users to find events and experiences and host experiences.

Individual investor Fred Tillman led the round, which included previous investor EW Scripps Company.

The company said it would use the funds to expand its marketplace in the Austin metro area and begin targeting national expansion opportunities.

Besomebody was founded by company CEO Kash Shaikh.
