Quintiles And Quest Launch Q2 Solutions

   Research Triangle Park, North Carolina  --  Quintiles and Quest Diagnostics have announced the launch of a new combined clinical trials laboratory services organization.

Called Q2 Solutions, the new offering brings together the clinical trials laboratories from both firms to provide a variety of capabilities and end-to-end services to the biopharmaceutical market.

The company will launch as the second-largest central laboratory services company in the world.

Q2 would have generated approximately $575 million in annual revenues had it been a standalone business in 2014.

Quintiles owns 60% and Quest Diagnostics owns 40% of the newly launched entity.
