Involta Lands New Venture Equity Funding

   Cedar Rapids, Iowa  --  IT security company Involta has secured $6.6 million in new venture capital equity funding, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

Involta provides comprehensive data protection services to help customers secure access to their critical data infrastructure.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.

Eight investors have participated in the offering to date.

Involta last received financing in July, 2014, a $50 million growth stage funding round.
