Amplion Launches Proprietary Biomarker Platform

   Bend, Oregon  --  Biotechnology database firm Amplion has announced the launch of its proprietary platform for gathering and annotating biomarker information.

Called the Amplion Biomarker Engine, the database enables users to gather and filter large volumes of information from a variety of sources.

The system employs a front-end application that also empowers researchers to rapidly annotate the information gathered.

The company says that the technology is special because it is able to "learn from all of the annotations that are made. It gets progressively smarter, leading to ever more rapid inclusion of novel biomarker information."

Amplion also touted the flexibility of the system, which can be used for any large biomarker information source.
