iHome Launches iSP5 SmartPlug

   Rahway, New Jersey  --  Electronics manufacturer iHome has announced the launch of a new home control product.

Called the iSP5 SmartPlug, the plug-in electrical outlet utilizes the Apple HomeKit SDK to enable consumers to turn on and off small appliances such as air conditioning, fans, lamps and other home devices.

Apple iOS users may also use the speech interface Siri to remotely control their devices.

The product is available on the company website and Amazon.com for $39.99.

The company says that it plans to release more smart home products in the coming months.
