Liberty Interactive Acquires Zulily

   Englewood, Colorado  --  Liberty Interactive Corporation (NASDAQ: QVCA) has announced that it will acquire zulily (NASDAQ: ZU) in a cash and stock transaction.

Zulily is a flash sales retailer that provides unique products from up-and-coming brands for the whole family, including clothing, toys, shoes, gifts and home decor.

The company was founded in 2010 and is headquartered in Seattle.

The purchase price of $18.75 per share totals approximately $2.4 billion and is about 15% less than the company's IPO price of $22 per share

Zulily will be folded into the QVC brand and will continue to be operated by its existing management team.
