Navizon Creates New Indoor Location Business

   Miami Beach, Florida  --  Location technology company Navizon has announced the spinoff of a new indoor location business.

Called Accuware, the new company will "focus on products and services for indoor positioning and navigation, people and assets tracking and monitoring for pedestrian traffic analysis."

The parent company, Navizon, will continue to focus on its core business of its global positioning services to provide alternatives to GPS in GPS-denied areas.

Accuware will provide a range of positioning technologies designed for ease of deployment and integration for retail, event marketing, digital marketing, museums, hospitals and hospitality facilities.

Navizon was founded in 2005 and operates a crowdsourced global database of cell phone towers and Wi-Fi access point locations.
