Cumulus Networks Launches Cumulus VX

   Mountain View, California  --  Cumulus Networks announced the launch of a free virtual appliance.

Called Cumulus VX, the system was created to simulate the Cumulus Networks technology environment in the environment of the data center cloud administrator's choice.

The new technology enables network engineers and administrators to develop open networking concepts in their own environments without the need for specialized hardware.

Cumulus VX runs in a variety of virtual environments including several VMware environments, Virtualbox, KVM and others.

The company is backed by top-tier venture capital firms.
