Figure 1 Adds Venture Capital Equity Funds

   Toronto, Canada  --  Healthcare IT company Figure 1 has received $2.5 million in new venture capital equity funds.

Figure 1 has developed a mobile first system that enables members of the healthcare community to "share images, knowledge, and clinical insight with each other, while keeping patient privacy safe."

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the proceeds.

Figure 1 was co-founded by CEO Gregory Levey.

The company is backed by a syndicate of top-tier venture capital firms in the US and Canada.
