Avitide Lands Series C Venture Round

   Lebanon, New Hampshire  --  Biotechnology company Avitide has raised an undisclosed amount of third round institutional venture capital investment, according to a company statement.

Avitide provides customized biopharmaceutical affinity purification products.

The platform reduces bioprocess development timelines, risk and cost of manufacture.

NeoMed Management led the round, which included previous investors Polaris Partners, Borealis Ventures, SV Life Sciences and Orbimed.

The company said the funding proceeds would be used to accelerate commercialization of its on-demand affinity purification platform.

Avitide expects to be profitable within the next two years.
