Coherix Lands Strategic Venture Capital

   Ann Arbor, Michigan  --  Electronics manufacturing technology company Coherix has received $12 million in strategic venture capital investment.

Coherix provides 3D visualization technologies for measurement and inspection of manufacturing processes.

The company says that its customers "can prevent unscheduled downtime, eliminate scrap and increase process throughput" by using its technology.

China-based Dandong Xintai Electric Co. made the investment.

The company said it would use the funding to accelerate product development and expand its global marketing initiatives.
