Celmatix Collects Venture Capital Investment

   New York, New York  --  Biotechnology company Celmatix has raised $3.8 million in new venture equity investment, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

Celmatix is targeting the reproductive medicine sector with products that it believes are designed to improve reproductive outcomes.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.

Celmatix is still seeking $1.4 million in additional financing, according to the filing.

The company is backed by private equity firm Topspin Partners and other undisclosed investors.
