San Francisco, California  --  IT company Clustrix has secured $6.9 million in venture capital debt investment, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

Clustrix is developing what it calls the "next generation of highly scalable distributed infrastructure products."

The company's technologies promise to make it easier to scale infrastructure just by adding nodes, rather than requiring custom software engineering or special administrative activities.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the proceeds.

Clustrix is still seeking $2.6 million in additional debt investment, according to the filing.

The company recently added a new VP Sales, Lindsey Anderson.
