Complex Media Collects Strategic Venture Capital

   New York, New York  --  Internet media company Complex Media has received $21 million in strategic venture capital financing.

Complex has developed a network of sites that are focused on 20-something male consumers.

The websites cater to the 20-something male audience because it is "driven by style, sports, music, games, gear and girls."

Hearst Media made the investment.

The company did not say how it would use the funding proceeds.

Neeraj Khemlani of Hearst led the firm's investment efforts in the transaction.
