Madison Reed Closes Series C Venture Round

   San Francisco, California  --  Consumer Internet retailer Madison Reed has landed $16.1 million in its third round of institutional venture capital financing.

Madison Reed says that it is "revolutionizing every aspect of the home care care market."

The company promises to sell products that are healthier for consumers and selling direct for delivery to the home.

Investors in the round included Comcast Ventures, Shea Ventures, Norwest Venture Partners and True Ventures

The company said it plans to expand its television advertising and marketing efforts nationwide through the tie up with Comcast Ventures.
