Askuity Raises Series A Venture Capital

   Toronto, Canada  --  Retailer software technology company Askuity has landed $2 million in its first round of institutional venture capital funding.

Askuity has developed software that provides data on retail sales activities both off-line and online.

Dunnhumby and other investors made the investment.

The company said it would use the funding to accelerate its sales and marketing initiatives in both its existing markets and to expand into new markets.

Company CEO Eric Green also co-founded the firm in September 2012.
