Limelight Platform Raises Equity Venture Capital

   Toronto, Canada  --  Digital media technology company Limelight Platform has garnered $3.1 million in seed stage venture investment.

Limelight has developed technologies for brands that "do live marketing."

The company's service helps to improve customer engagement and add to sales while lowering costs.

iGan Partners led the round, which included Sand Hill Angels, Hyde Park Venture Partners and individual investor Jason Tryfon.

The company said it would use the funding to accelerate its expansion initiatives in the United States.
