Neura Nabs Series A Venture Funding

   Sunnyvale, California  --  Mobile technology company Neura has landed $11 million in its first round of institutional venture capital funding.

Neura is developing mobile Internet of Things technologies "enabling consolidation, automation and extrapolation with the plethora of connected devices in our life."

AXA Strategic Ventures and Pitango Venture Capital co-led the round which also included Liberty Israel Venture Fund and Lenovo.

The company did not disclose how the funding proceeds would be used.

Neura CEO Gilad Meiri has been with the firm since January 2013 and was previously co-founder and CEO of Spicebox.
