Diagnostic Photonics Raises Series B Funding

   Chicago, Illinois  --  Imaging technology company Diagnostic Photonics has received just over $3 million in equity venture capital funding, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

The company is developing advanced imaging to assist clinicians in the evaluation of diseased tissue during surgical operations.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.

Diagnostic Photonics is still seeking $3 million in additional financing, according to the filing.

Six investors participated in the offering.
