Hometeam Raises Series B Venture Capital

   New York, New York  --  Healthcare technology company Hometeam has landed $27.5 million in its second round of institutional venture capital funding.

Hometeam aims to improve the lives of patients and caregivers by providing a home care service marketplace.

Oak HC/FT led the round, which included previous investors Lux Capital, IA Ventures and Recruit Strategic Partners.

The company said it would use the proceeds to accelerate its medical and technology development initiatives.

CEO Josh Bruno co-founded the company in August 2013.
