Scalr Raises Equity Venture Capital Funds

   San Francisco, California  --  IT company Scalr has landed $7.35 million in equity venture capital funding, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

Scalr has created what it calls the Scalr Cloud Management Platform that "packages all the cloud best practices in an extensible piece of software."

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the proceeds.

Scalr was founded in 2007 by CEO Sebastian Stadil and others.
