Charlottesville, Virginia -- Healthcare service technology company Locus Health has secured $4 million in its second round of venture capital funding.
Locus provides software that helps save health systems money through reducing readmissions, careful patient management and improving health outcomes. The University Of Virginia Health System and Rothman Institute made the investment. The company said it would use the funding to continue to expand its operations throughout the healthcare industry across the United States. Locus CEO Kirby Farrell has been with the firm since 2013.
