Brooklyn, New York -- Internet technology company Material Wrld has landed $2.19 million in new equity venture capital investment, according to an SEC regulatory filing.
Material Wrld operates as an "online fashion community for shoppable personal closets." The site was started by co-founders Jie Zheng and Rie Yano. Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds. A total of four investors participated in the offering. Minimum investment size per investor was listed as $50,000.
