Philadelphia, Pennsylvania -- Medical software developer OnCora Medical has landed $1.2 million in seed stage venture capital investment.
OnCora has developed software that it says "brings together a balance of skills from both medicine and technology" to "fight cancer with data." Investors in the financing included iSeed Ventures, BioAdvance Ventures, individual investor Thomas Mackie and other undisclosed investors. The company said it would use the funding to hire additional personnel at its headquarters and "complete early product installations with leading health systems." CEO David Lindsay co-founded the firm in June 2014.
