Denver, Colorado -- Healthcare communications company CirrusMD has received $1 million in new equity venture capital investment, according to an SEC regulatory filing.
CirrusMD has developed a system that enables patients to text message, share images and video chat with doctors over there mobile or desktop devices.
Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.
A total of 20 investors participated in the offering.
CirrusMD is still seeking $214,000 in additional financing, according to the filing.
