New York, New York -- Internet technology company Credly has received $2.5 million in seed stage venture capital funding, according to the company.
Credly has created digital badge technology that helps to verify and manage digital badges and credentials. University Ventures and New Markets Venture Partners co-led the round, which included other undisclosed investors. The company did not say how the funding proceeds would be used. CEO Jonathan Finkelstein founded the company in November 2012.
