Missoula, Montana -- Clean technology company Clearas Water Recovery has received $4 million in its second round of institutional venture capital financing.
Clearas has developed what it calls an "advance, biological water treatment system that leverages algae and other biological organisms." Next Frontier Capital and Good Works Ventures participated in the financing. The company said it would use the proceeds to accelerate its growth and employee hiring initiatives. Clearas is headed by CEO Jordan Lind, who has been with the firm since August 2011.
