St. Petersburg, Florida -- Healthcare services network Informed Medical Decisions has secured $6.5 million in new equity venture capital investment, according to an SEC regulatory filing.
Informed Medical has created what it calls "the nation's largest independent provider network [InformedDNA] of genetics specialists." This network manages a comprehensive knowledge library for genetic tests in hereditary conditions. Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds. One investor made the investment.
