Seattle,
Washington -- Financial services technology company Remitly
has raised $38.5 million in its third round of institutional venture capital
investment.
Remitly has created
technologies that make it easier and faster to send money internationally.
Stripes Group led the
round, which also included Vulcan Capital, DFJ, DN Capital, Bezos Expeditions
and Trilogy Equity Partners.
The company said it
would use the funding to grow its team and continue its expansion initiatives.
CEO Matt Oppenheimer
co-founded Remitly in May 2011.
