
San Juan Capistrano, California -- Software technology company Exara has received $3.1 million in equity venture capital investment, according to an SEC regulatory filing.
Exara says that it is "revolutionizing the way industrial companies capture, curated consumer machine data from high-value field-based assets."
Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.
A total of 13 investors participated in the offering.
Exara is still seeking $1.36 million in additional financing, according to the filing
Minimum investment size per investor was listed as $25,000.
